Repurposing

I have a few shirts that Mike was throwing out, so I thought I'd use the fabric to try to make a dress for June. If it didn't work out, no money wasted. I was so excited that this turned out so well since I just made it up as I went.

The park and June's first hair cut.

It's so so nice and warm (60 degrees!). So we've been outside everyday. Yesterday we went to the park with Jess, Cedar and all our little girls. After we got home June and I spent even more time outside and now she's got a little pink face. Sorry June!

Bubble time!!

After we got back, we decided it was time for a much needed hair cut. I've been debating about cutting it because she's too little to be having hair cuts already and Mike's been pretty insistent that he didn't want it cut. He made the mistake though of one time admitting that it was a little crazy- I took that to be a go ahead on cutting it :)

See the before! Long on the sides, rubbed off in the middle, short underneath, and super thin on top. At least it's starting to grow in all over.

Voila! I cut it to the length of the underneath hair, so it's a little shorter than I thought it would be, but it's nice and even, well, compared to the inches in difference before. I like it though. Mike might take some time getting use to it. It was a few months before he finally said he liked my hair short without following it with and except for ...... comment. He's a little weary of change that's not his idea and too honest about his opinions. Love ya Mike.
