Cascade Springs

Taking the Alpine Loop up American Fork Canyon, we turned off towards Heber to see Cascade Springs. I definitely take for granted all the hidden treasure of Utah. Driving through the mountain range and escaping the city, it's refreshing and a nice reminder of how amazing nature is. We live so close, but often forget to enjoy it.

There are a few boardwalks and bridges that lead you around the springs. Starting in a small, flat meadow, the water emerges from the ground and creates little streams that flow down a rocky hill and through shallow ponds, where the fish have migrated up stream and now live. The simple little treasure is spectacular.

Work Camp Out

We went with Mike's work (E-harbor) camping near Hobble Creek up Spanish Fork Canyon. We had a great trip with no bear run-ins, PHEW! We created our own little spot and the guys made an excelent breakfast.

We had some cute little neighbors.

Happy 4th from the Baseball Diamond!
