Taking the Alpine Loop up American Fork Canyon, we turned off towards Heber to see Cascade Springs. I definitely take for granted all the hidden treasure of Utah. Driving through the mountain range and escaping the city, it's refreshing and a nice reminder of how amazing nature is. We live so close, but often forget to enjoy it.
There are a few boardwalks and bridges that lead you around the springs. Starting in a small, flat meadow, the water emerges from the ground and creates little streams that flow down a rocky hill and through shallow ponds, where the fish have migrated up stream and now live. The simple little treasure is spectacular.
